On this day

The Mystery calls: Come home to me, You are loved for exactly who you are. I see you in your light. I know you in your shadow. You are loved completely for who you are. Come home to me.

“This is the eternal origin of art that a human being confronts a form that wants to become a work through him. Not a figment of his soul but something that appears to the soul and demands the soul's creative power. What is required is a deed that a man does with his whole being..” “Man wishes to be confirmed in his being by man, and wishes to have a presence in the being of the other…. Secretly and bashfully he watches for a YES which allows him to be and which can come to him only from one human person to another.” ―  Martin Buber ,  I and Thou

The Refreshing Practice of Repentance

This was a great listen for me personally.... I gained a lot of insight from this conversation.  Maybe you will too.  Have a good Sunday. Jenny

The Journey by Mary Oliver

One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice-- though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles. "Mend my life!" each voice cried. But you didn't stop. You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible. It was already late enough, and a wild night, and the road full of fallen branches and stones. But little by little, as you left their voices behind, the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds, and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world, determined to do the only thing you could do-- determined to save the only life you could save.

Prague

Some images from the Jewish quarter.  Handwritten names of the missing and deceased from WW2 with their last known address covered the walls of a temple in a powerful memorial.  A packed cemetary that felt animated by the density of the gravestones.... a Sephardic Temple with an incredibly embellished interior.
