Listened to this yesterday.  it held my attention, but was quite sad in lots of ways, still it was a bleak day, so I stayed with it.  Need to focus a lot right now, so I imagine I'll be listening to lots of books.  Today I begin another....A brief history of seven killings by Marlon James.  It won the Mann Booker Prize so I expect it to be a good one.

I met Elizabeth probably the first time I was ever at Penland in the early '80s.  She was doing small metals then and ceramics.... So fun to see this video of her and her process with Anthony Bourdain!I love the sound of her voice.....such a lovely drawl....and of course her signature pearls. This video is pure Elizabeth Brim.  She has definitely stuck to her vision over the years... Congratulations Elizabeth....so awesome to see you being recognized!  But of course we always knew!!
