I made a very small piece just like this  this once with a friend, years before I even knew about this piece.  It was a nice surprise to run into this over the weekend.  I guess there are only a few ideas out there, and once in a while we are lucky enough to have a good one pass through us.  I wish I had a photo of our version.  It was from a Cerf Auction about shelter, over 10 years ago.
