Leaf patterns

I'm looking for rythms in nature to inspire my own patterning....found these on my walk this morning with Mr. Claude.  He sure is getting big fast!!!

yes wonderful designs in nature all the way from the lines of branches in the trees to the flowing river through the landscape and the cotton candy-like clouds and the patterns in the surfaces of animals and birds and of course the blood vessels and veins again resembling twigs rising into the sky it is all around us to inspire us
