Pottery Thursday = Barbara Diduk

Barbara Diduk was the first person to teach me about ceramics  at Washington University in 1979.    I remember the way she could throw really narrow expanses on her pots on a wooden Leach style treadle wheel,   The simplicity of her surface, combined with the subtle movement of the clay has always inspired me.  She was making functional pots back then.

Great stuff! There was NO Ceramic program when I was there 1987-1990...It wasn't meant to be for me until I found CLAY in 2002!
