A gift from someone who inherited an entire storage locker full of this bisqued commercial dinnerware and is trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm going to take some down to my class at Penland and encourage the students to go wild. Sometimes it is easier to do this with something you didn't actually make yourself.
Lots of fun for your students. A lot of students become so attached their work that it becomes difficult to take the final daring step of decoration and glazing. With nothing invested in the form there is the freedome to experiment. I hope we will see results!
