I'm home. Feeling happy. This song will start your day off right, maybe even with a little private dance. I heard it in the post office today, and was dancing in line with a smile on. How can you not feel happy after listening...... Working towards my next show in Ft. Worth in a few weeks. Happy working... Just happy.... I'll share what I've been up to tomorrow.. I'm not sure if this will work, but it is an accidental movie of my dad with a shark he just caught that Mark took. It was supposed to be a photo, a souvenir of the moment. But instead it became lots of little pictures, and something more. You know, operator error. But also a gift. I wanted to put it here so I don't lose it. It feels like something I know I'll want to find later, like an old photo you find at the bottom of a drawer, faded, a little torn and bent, that takes you right back to the moment. I've always like saving bits of paper that could trigger a memory, thought, idea, etc. I have piles of that stuff filling up my life. It's impossible to remember it all, without a little hint.... and especially in this case if you were never even there. But now, I will forever feel as though it was me taking that picture, full of that special time. If the video clip doesn't play, try to imagine it :) it's only a few seconds long.

Well, it wasn't exactly instant, but almost. Having been gone a month, re-entry into the cold was bad enough. We dropped my parents off, and the smell of skunk in their foyer was undeniable. When we had originally picked them up to drive down to Florida I suspected a skunk was living under their house. They didn't think so, blaming it on the dog etc., but denial is a powerful thing and the skunk smell was strong and present. Well we opened the door to their house after a month, and the odor is still there, and I was laughing about it.....30 minutes later we opened up our house to the same smell, maybe worse!!!!! Somehow something has taken residence under our house now, in the crawl space, or ?????????? My studio area is the worst. Luckily there is snow outside, so maybe we can figure out how it is coming and going. I understand, it's been a long and very cold winter, but in 25 years of living in the house including long periods of absensce, never was there suc
