Bruce Gholson, Samantha Henneke and I invite you to our mountaintop pottery show in Bakersville, NC, Cousins in Clay! This year's visiting cousin is Jenny Mendes, coming all the way from Chesterland, O-HI-O.

We hope you can join us for our festive "pottery family" reunion. The show will begin Saturday August 23 at 10 a.m. and run through Sunday August 24th at 4 p.m. Follow the Cousins in Clay signs to 4062 Snow Creek Rd, Bakersville, NC 28705

My father-in-law George Lane will be serving up his famous red beans and rice again this year! Come have some good food, add to your pottery collection, and relax in our cool mountain setting.

We also invite you to have lunch with the potters on Sunday Aug 24th at 12 noon for the "potter's potluck" Many members of the community attend this annual luncheon and it's a great time to meet your favorite Penland potters! Bring a dish and a chair, there will be lots of great food. If you haven't heard already, potters are great cooks!

After lunch Jenny Mendes will demonstrate some of her masterful techniques in a 1 hour workshop. Free!
