happy birthday h.b.

 i am always learning by example.  from my father i have seen and experienced incredible generosity without his asking for anything in return.   time and time again i have witnessed the gratitude he expresses towards his friends.  i do my best to carry these lessons with me.  my father is 88 today, and we will celebrate all together..  he has been lucky to live a good long life filled with friends that he has loved with his whole heart.  i appreciate the way meaning evolves, as life is experienced more deeply.  i read charlotte's web several times when I was young, it was always a favorite book.
