Bhupen Khakhar

Last summer I saw a wonderful exhibition of Bhupen Khakhar at the Tate when I was in London. I went to see the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit which was incredible, but the highlight of the visit was being introduced Khakhar's work.  I wasn't sure if I had seen it before though it felt so very familiar.... Seeing his work
for the first time felt like meeting an old friend.  So wonderful!
