Jenny Mendes

Red Clay Menagerie  December 02, 2011 - January 07, 2012   Menagerie: A collection of wild and unusual animals; an unusual and varied group of people. This exhibit, with artists invited by Ron Meyers, will feature a mix of pots and sculpture that incorporate the figure and/or animal imagery using the common material of red clay. Featured Artists: Clockwise from top left, Ron  Meyers, Debra Fritts, Jenny Mendes, Isreal Davis, Liz Quackenbush, Rimas Visgarda, and Ayumi Horie. Not shown, Laurie Shaman.  

Liz Quackenbush is another one of the potterys on our stop of the tour.   She makes great pots, the color is all wrong in my photos, so you'll have to go to her website to see what they really look like.  Love her painted imagery.  Its the last day of the tour, and I will be so glad to get home.  I wonder how much Claude has grown in 2 weeks?
