Jenny Mendes

I made these pots last summer from some amazing clay that came from Zlakusa Serbia that you can fire in an hour!!!   Today is the set up day for the St. Croix Pottery tour.  I hope it doesn't snow!!!  

I sort of forgot what I was doing.  So, I'm figuring it out as I go.  Amazing how easy it is to get out of practice, but then again, it's not all bad.  Maybe I'll forget a few bad habits.

Listening to the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo this week as I work.    I've finally gotten the book after waiting  2 months to get this from the library!  Already I feel deep inside the story and I think the icy landscape of Sweden crept into my painting yesterday.
